The safety valve can open and close automatically according to the working pressure. It is generally installed on the equipment or pipeline of the closed system to protect the safety of the system.

When the pressure in the equipment or pipeline exceeds the specified value, it will automatically open the pressure relief to ensure that the medium pressure in the equipment and pipeline is within the specified value to prevent accidents.

When the system pressure exceeds the specified value, the safety valve will automatically open, part of the gas in the system will be discharged into the atmosphere, so that the system pressure does not exceed the allowable value, so as to ensure that the system will not have accidents due to high pressure.

Safety valve is also known as relief valve. Several typical structure forms of safety valve. 1. The valve core of piston type safety valve is a flat plate.

The air source pressure acts on the piston. When the pressure exceeds the safety value determined by the spring force, the piston is pushed open, and a part of the compressed air is discharged into the atmosphere from the valve port.

When the air pressure is lower than the safety value, the spring drives the piston to move down and close the valve port. The sealing surface of the valve should be clean.

There are two main types of safety valve structure: spring type and lever type.

Spring type means that the sealing between valve disc and valve seat depends on the force of spring. Lever type depends on the force of lever and heavy hammer.

With the need of large capacity, there is a pulse type safety valve, also known as pilot type safety valve, composed of main safety valve and auxiliary valve.

When the medium pressure in the pipeline exceeds the specified pressure value, the auxiliary valve is opened first, and the medium enters the main safety valve along the pipe, and the main safety valve is opened to reduce the increased medium pressure.

The discharge capacity of safety valve depends on the diameter of valve seat and the opening height of valve disc, which can also be divided into two types:
